Choosing your cabinetry
Custom, RTA or Hybrid?
These choices answer two different questions: how much design freedom you need and how the cabinetry is supplied. RTA means ready-to-assemble; custom means built around a particular design. Some suppliers even offer custom-sized RTA cabinets. At Cornerstone, we help you compare our premium RTA line with our in-house custom work—and combine them when that serves the project.

Cabinetry Options
01 — Custom
Custom — dimensions and design developed for the project; broader choice of details and finishes; suited to unusual spaces and custom furniture.
02 — Premium RTA
Premium RTA — choose from the selected line's available sizes, styles and finishes; hardwood maple door rails and stiles in our line; suited to layouts that fit available selections and value-focused budgets.
03 — Hybrid
Hybrid — use RTA where the selections fit and custom work where needed; plan transitions and finish coordination together; suited to projects seeking targeted customization.
Full Overlay vs Inset Is a Separate Decision
Full overlay describes doors covering most of the cabinet front. Inset describes doors closing flush within the face frame. These terms describe door placement, not simply price or quality. Cornerstone specializes in both for custom cabinetry.
